We publish one hourly labour rate rather than a list of package prices. Two faults with the same symptom can need very different work: a warm display cabinet may need a condenser clean or a new compressor. Charging for time spent and quoting parts separately means you only pay for what the equipment actually needs. You approve every quote before work goes ahead.

How pricing works for each service

Air conditioning repair

Diagnosis and repair time is charged at the hourly rate. If a part is needed, it is quoted in writing before it is fitted.

What affects the final cost

The time on site depends on the type of system, how easy the equipment is to reach and whether the fault is constant or comes and goes. Roof-mounted condensers, basement plant rooms and sites that are still trading may need extra access arrangements or work outside normal hours. These are agreed with you first.

Refrigerant costs vary by gas type and quantity, and the law requires a leak to be found before a system is topped up. Original manufacturer parts for older equipment can take longer to arrive. When this affects the job, we tell you before ordering.
